This wasn’t the poem I set out to write last night, but it didn’t matter. It’s always ok to let flow take liberties and even though my intention wasn’t quite satisfied, I accepted that my initial concept was a title for another day.
Break your own rules. Happy Monday.
–Leanne Rebecca
This poem is just right for a Monday morning as I prepare to head off to my spiffy clipboard and crumbs of authority. It reminds me of the need to set my intention before I go. I have to have a job, but my alter-ego as an “authority” doesn’t have to change the I Am presence in me. Hard to balance. May this day bring a mind free of hierarchies, a heart full of compassion, and a soul open to daily delights hidden only to the unaware.
Thank you. Sometimes we lose our identities in those hierarchies. Never forget who you are and what matters most! Cheers!
“Break your own rules.” Best writing advice ever. Thanks! 🙂
You’re welcome!! And thank you!
Rule breaking is what it’s all about! Do it well and you create something completely new.
